Has BabyDam been fully safety tested and approved/kite marked?
Yes it is fully safety tested and certified, but as with any baby bath product, a baby should never be left unattended in a bath.

Where is my order?

I’m having trouble fitting my BabyDam, can you help?

My bath has curved sides – will BabyDam still fit?
BabyDam is designed to fit in any standard, straight-sided household bath. It won’t fit and seal properly in a curve-sided bath.

Can I use my BabyDam at either end of my bath?
Yes. The BabyDam can be fitted at any point along a standard straight-sided bath. You can fill it with a showerhead if you are using it at the non-tap end of the bath. If you do this you will need to remove BabyDam by the normal method with the water still in place.

If your bath is wet, can you still fit BabyDam?
Yes. You have to soak the suction pads thoroughly to stick to the bath anyway so it will not affect its fitting.

I have wet the suction pads but it is still not forming a watertight seal. Does this mean my BabyDam is faulty?
No, there must be a problem in the fitting. For ease, please click here to see the video of how to fit BabyDam correctly. You need to wet the suction pads thoroughly and push down firmly and check the seal round the rubber edging to ensure a watertight seal.

How do I know how much water to fill the bath with?
With a newborn it is important to fill it with water to just above the newborn baby's shoulders to keep the infant warm.
Once your child is able to sit up, the bath can be filled to a higher depth by fitting one of the plugs supplied into the safety porthole.
There is a clear mark on the BabyDam for the recommended maximum water depth to help you.

Is BabyDam new?
Actually, BabyDam was first conceived back in 2004 and launched in 2008. We have made improvements to the design since then and it is now much easier to fit and release due to the new pull tabs attached to the suction pads.

Can BabyDam be used for bathing newborns?
Yes. BabyDam is perfect for bathing a newborn in your own household bath. It is important to fill your bath with water to just above the newborn baby's shoulders to keep the infant warm.
Be sure to support and hold your newborn’s head out of the water with one hand until about 12 weeks old, or until your baby is able to hold their head up on their own. Never leave a baby unattended in a bath.

What is the age limit for using a BabyDam?
Depending on how fast your child grows, BabyDam can be used from newborn up to toddler age dependent on size (generally up to 30 months).
If you have an older child and a baby, BabyDam can be used to fill the bath to different levels on each side of the dam, to bath both your children at the same time.

Where can I buy BabyDam from?
From 21st September 2010 the new improved BabyDam is available to buy in the UK exclusively from www.BabyDam.com.

Can I buy BabyDam for delivery outside of Mainland UK?
For the time being, we can only deliver to Mainland UK through our website. BabyDam will be available to buy throughout Europe and Australasia from January 2011.

Where is BabyDam made?
BabyDam is made in India by Funskool, a joint venture between Hasbro inc and MRF.

How is BabyDam made?
BabyDam has been made using a secret formula of combined materials that gives it its extremely durable, yet flexible structure. All materials have been fully safety tested.

Does BabyDam come in any other colours?
No, the BabyDam brand is bright blue.

Delivery and Returns

When I place an order, how long does delivery take and how much does it cost?

Standard Delivery Service: We aim to deliver all stocked items within 3 - 5 working days. Deliveries are made Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm.

Do you offer Next Day delivery?
Next Day delivery is available. Please contact our Customer Service team on 01208 74022 for details and prices.

What are 'working' days?
Monday to Friday are working days.
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are not working days.

Delivery – how long will it take for my BabyDam to arrive?
Delivery is 3-5 working days.  If you order on a weekend, your order will be dispatched on the next working day.

I’m not happy with my BabyDam, how do I return it?
Our 30-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for it. Your BabyDam must be accompanied by your original delivery note and returned to us within 30 days of the date you received it. Please see returns for further details.

My BabyDam is faulty. How do I get a refund or replacement?

Where can I buy a BabyDam?
BabyDam is available to buy from our website  www.BabyDam.com and selected retailers. If you prefer, you can telephone us on 01208 74002 (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) to place an order.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo and American Express. We are also happy to accept orders by post, with payment by cheque made payable to Perry Innovation Limited, sent to Perry Innovation Limited, Unit 12a, Cooksland Business Park, Bodmin, Cornwall, PL31 2QB. All orders must be paid for prior to dispatch.

I would like to order more than one BabyDam to be delivered to the same address. Do I have to pay postage and packing for each?
BabyDams are packed in individual outer postage boxes and sent separately and therefore incur individual postage charges. However orders of four to six are packed in cartons with one postage cost of £11.50. Orders of six or more can be quoted separately.
